Occupiers possessed only about 100 of these “invincible” modern tanks. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia can’t produce T-90M anymore because of the sanctions. So they have to use outdated models like T-62.
“Myths about the so-called invincibility, perfection, self-sufficiency, and high technology of the T-90M and Russian tank-building have shattered against the indomitability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As of now the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have lost 15 T-90M units in Ukraine. That’s about only those cases recorded on photo or video,” said Senior Lieutenant Andrii Rudyk, representative of the Trophy and Prospective Weapons and Military Equipment Center for Research of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
