It’s been 15 years since the holiday was initiated to spread the idea of Ukrainian national identity. This year, the focus of Vyshyvanka Day is on Ukrainian traditional music and ecological problems, emphasizing the connection between cultural heritage and ecology. Today’s motto is, “the land of our ancestors for our descendants”.
