One person was killed and two were injured in a grenade blast in Trostianets, Sumy region. Civilians blew themselves up on a “tripwire” left by the Russian occupiers as they fled from the city.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, in violation of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons, mined objects and places of general access during the occupation of Trostianets.
This led to the detonation of a tripwire grenade on the outskirts of the city in a forest strip. As a result of the explosion, two locals were injured, another man died because of injuries.
