Today, Ukraine marks the 31 anniversary of independence. This year, the holiday is historic since Ukraine literally defends its right to sovereignty.
After the six months of brutal Russian invasion, Ukrainians have proved to the whole world their courage, endurance, and indestructibility. This year, our Independence day is also bittersweet for millions of Ukrainians due to the bloody price paid by our people for the right to freedom.
Today, millions of Ukrainians have lost their relatives, their homes, and the peaceful skies over their heads but they have not lost their strength and faith in the victory of light over darkness. our country has been, is, and will be independent. Glory to Ukraine!
