Life on ruins. How Canadian volunteers help Ukrainians to survive the winter

The tragedy of war, the Inhumane actions of Russian occupiers, and the desire to help Ukrainians prompted volunteers from Canada to come to Ukraine. Having spent over 170 days here, they drove all over Ukraine and visited Kyiv, Kramatorsk, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Odesa, Uman, and Chernihiv.

Now, they ended up in Borodianka, Kyiv region, which still has signs of heavy shellings and is now trying to revive life after the Russian occupation in February and March. Canadians provide local residents with food, pet food, and building materials to restore their homes.

Also, they help the locals to prepare for winter and make their homes warm before the heating season. After 6 months of the Russian barbaric war in Ukraine, friends from the whole world keep supporting Ukrainians both on the military and humanitarian fronts, believing in the victory of light over darkness.
