Ukrainian entrepreneurs’ contribution to winning the war. Part 2

Ukraine In Flames continues to explore the operation of Ukrainian businesses amidst war, many of which not only continued their work contributing to the economy but joined the efforts to help Ukrainian defenders and victims of Russian aggression. This episode focuses on how entrepreneurs of the Kyiv Institute for Dermatology & Cosmetology, family company Agromat, and MIRS Corporation contribute to Ukraine’s victory.

Olga Bogomolets, The Founder and chief doctor at The Kyiv Institute for Dermatology & Cosmetology, set up a whole separate clinic in Lviv where doctors from the occupied territories who lost their jobs got a possibility to work. Receiving no funds from the state, they provide consultations for the defenders of Ukraine and relatives of Ukrainians killed in the war free of charge.

Taday family, co-owners of “Agromat” company, the largest importer of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware in Eastern Europe, helped the employees and their families with evacuation. From the first day of the war, the company helped the Armed Forces by donating 5 large trucks to the army and continues to assist through the “Come Back Alive” Charitable Foundation. It also is heavily involved in collecting humanitarian aid for those in need.

MIRS, the official distributor of furniture manufacturers, immediately got involved in donating millions of hryvnias to the army, turning their call center into the first line of support for refugees fleeing the war, donating the necessary equipment to hospitals, arranging the supply of humanitarian aid from abroad, and more.
