Ukraine not only awaits the defeat of Russia on the battlefield but looks forward to the disintegration of the aggressor state altogether. But how realistic is such a scenario? Ukraine In Flames hears from some of Russia’s long-suppressed ethnic minorities’ representatives and a Ukrainian expert to explore this.
The Free Nations League is a key political platform for the decolonization of indigenous peoples in the Russian Federation and the acquisition of each nation’s sovereignty. Its representatives seek dialogue with the western world to receive support in gaining independence for their peoples.
With the Kremlin sending disproportionately high numbers of representatives of ethnic minorities to the war in Ukraine, the latter increasingly see the regime for what it is – a colonial empire using the enslaved nations as cannon fodder. Right now these nations are crying for help from the developed democracies of the world.
