Since 2014, Russian military aggression in Ukraine has been followed by cyberattacks. After February 24, this trend accelerated.
Russian common cyberattacks against Ukrainian infrastructure and government services pushed Kyiv to enhance cyber security. Except for successful attacks that have become public, there are thousands of unsuccessful ones, which Ukrainians repelled.
Russian-Ukrainian war is also a war for minds, and the enemy uses all possible means to win it: from hacker attacks to PSYOPS. Russia sows fakes and disinformation in Ukrainian information space — but Ukrainians defend their security as decisively as they fight for their land.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
