How Ukraine withstood this year and what is next

For a year, Ukraine has been restraining Russian aggression at the gate of Europe. Our country has faced missile and drone attacks, artillery fire, and war crimes.

Russian occupiers have done everything possible to wipe Ukraine both physically and culturally — and they failed. They have tried to destroy Ukrainian identity and break our resistance — but instead only strengthened our coherence and resilience in the face of the enemy.

After this horrible year, Ukrainians tempered and united around one ultimate goal, which is liberation. While the Kremlin sticks to a strategy of exhaustion, our country remains indestructible, being a home for solidarity and mutual support — and that is why the light will finally conquer the darkness.

UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
