At the height of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, it is important to prognosis and discusses the international politics in the post-war world system. While the Armed forces of Ukraine defend our freedom every day, the issue of Ukraine’s post-war security remains unresolved.
The security of the entire free world now depends on the security guarantees for Ukraine and, as a result, the country’s membership in NATO. As Russia tries to globally undermine the very ideas of security and democracy, a reliable security umbrella will define the balance of power in the future.
For Ukraine, the status of a barrier to Russian aggression will never be enough, taking into consideration the next possible aggressor’s attacks. The situation in the whole Western world now strongly depends on the post-war perspectives for Ukraine — and with the support of our partners, they need to be discussed and planned right now.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
