In its war of annihilation against Ukraine, Russia uses all possible measures to exhaust and demoralize Ukrainian defenders. The role of Wagner private military companies in Russian aggression cannot be underestimated in Russia’s methods of war.
Now, tens of thousands of Wagner mercenaries are believed are now fighting for Russia in Ukraine, and this is how Russia implements the strategy of filling the frontline with cannon fodder. Having been used for the promotion of Russian interests in different countries, Wagner mercenaries are now actively recruiting Russian prisoners for war in Ukraine.
Wagner paramilitary group remains one of the most brutal instruments of Russian aggression, being designated as an international terrorist organization by the USA. While Ukraine is now defended by heroes fighting for freedom and independence, Russian authorities are just getting rid of socially dangerous elements — and this technics is rather effective.
