Immersing Ukrainians in darkness and despair were part of Russia’s plan. The enemy’s targeted attacks against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure became another sign of terror for the civilian population.
Another goal of the Kremlin was to cause a total blackout in Ukraine. According to the Russian plan, it had to provoke anti-government protests in Ukraine.
However, thanks to the heroic effort of the Ukrainian power engineer, this plan was never realized. Ukrainian society has once again proved its consolidation, and the light has overcome the darkness.
