During Russia’s large-scale invasion, Ukrainian culture is under threat. As defense from the aggressor remains the country’s top priority, there is a lack of state funding for the cultural sector.
Therefore, Ukrainians need to look for other creative solutions and initiatives to support contemporary art, which is a universal way for Ukraine to make its voice heard worldwide.
Russian-Ukrainian war remains the war of cultural narratives — and the aggressor cannot win it.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
