All-Ukrainian dictation of national unity became one of the most essential actions of the Ukrainian agreement around the language. Language was and remains one of the most crucial characteristics of statehood and the identity of the Ukrainian people.
Since the days of Russian tsarism, the Russian state has tried to destroy Ukrainian identity and assimilate Ukrainians. In the future, this continued during the Soviet Union and later during the Russian Federation.
Such actions make it possible to popularise the Ukrainian language and culture and convey important narratives to the broadest range of consumers. Therefore, it is essential to continue this tradition and create new opportunities for promoting the national idea of Ukrainian identity.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
