The Ukrainian Church is one of the few public institutions that has always had high trust among citizens. In times of crisis, such as the Revolution of Dignity, the Church supported the spirit and freedom of the Ukrainian people.
The Church is a fundamental structure because it supports the moral guidelines of the entire nation. The Church, which has strong connections far beyond the Ukrainian border, should be at the forefront of Ukraine’s information policy and prevent Ukrainian refugees abroad from falling out of the state’s information field.
In the end, the religious issue also became a field for manipulations because the actions of the Ukrainian authorities regarding the collapse of the network of Russian agents under the guise of priests became a tool in the hands of Russian propaganda. The Church needs to remain relevant in the light of the events of the war and find its place in the future society after the victory.
