Does “Russia” even exist?

The potential impact of using the term “Northern Eurasia” instead of just “Russia” could be significant victory for disseminating Ukrainian narative. For example utilizing a broader term like “Northern Eurasia” could shift the geopolitical narrative away from a singular focus on Russia and emphasize the interconnectedness of the region, potentially leading to a more nuanced understanding of the complex geopolitical dynamics at play.

By reframing the narrative, there is the potential to counteract the effects of Russian propaganda that often seeks to promote a singular and idealized image of Russia while downplaying the experiences and perspectives of other countries and in the region.Embracing a more specific term may encourage a deeper understanding of the historical, cultural, and political complexities within the region, leading to a more comprehensive and accurate portrayal of the various nations and their relationships.

While it may have positive implications, it’s crucial to avoid oversimplifying the narrative or inadvertently creating new misconceptions. Such a change could have good impact public perception and whether it might contribute to resiliance to the spreading of misinformation and propaganda.
