With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, it became clear to most Ukrainian and world historians that this invasive attack was a sign of severe changes in world history. Ukrainian historians actively drew parallels with the past and gave a certain sense of the significance of the time in which we live.
In addition, most of the figures of historical science try to help the Defense Forces of Ukraine in this unequal struggle, not only with words but also with deeds, as volunteers. This significant influence shows that Russian aggression is a highly threatening factor in world history.
The historical approach to the matter makes it possible to learn lessons from past mistakes and thus gain and build a better future.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
