The Russian Federation invests vast amounts of money in promoting its agenda in African countries. These resources are spent on military presence, diplomatic missions, loans, disinformation campaigns and many other levers of influence generously funded by the Kremlin.
Putin’s regime perceives Africa as a region that can provide many benefits precisely in the diplomatic dimension. The support of all these countries is essential to promote their imperialist policy towards Ukraine and other countries of Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.
Ukraine must maintain its presence in African countries and gain the local population’s support because this first hit the Kremlin’s ego, which believes it can dominate this region.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
