African countries are essential partners in the international arena; therefore, to achieve their goals, both Moscow and Kyiv must fight for their support. It is necessary for Ukraine to promote its agenda and spread it in the information field of Africa through the media and journalists.
One of the options for such activity is inviting and holding press tours that would explain the actual state of affairs in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre held A similar tour from August 1 to 8 for journalists from various African countries.
For most journalists, this experience is unique. It will allow them to cover the events of the Russian invasion more objectively, improving the overall quality of the media in their countries.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
