Russia actively uses all possible ways to blackmail not only Ukraine but also Western countries. Energy blackmail is connected not only with the brutal shelling of Ukrainian infrastructure but also with trade in Russian energy carriers.
This blackmail develops into propaganda to destabilize the political situation among Kyiv’s partners. To counteract these efforts of the Russians, it is necessary to take several measures based primarily on the diversification of one’s dependence on the energy sector.
Whether Europe will overcome this problem and achieve independence in these matters is very important for the further development of the global confrontation with Russian aggression.
