Ukraine has already returned 1456 Ukrainians from captivity

Since February 2022, Ukraine has managed to return 1456 Ukrainians from captivity. Among them are civilians and military. But about 15,000 Ukrainian citizens are still missing as a result of a full-scale war. This was reported by representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the system of security and defense sector bodies Oleksandr Kononenko.

The official added that the situation with the release of prisoners of war has moved forward, and the release of civilians is much more difficult.
