On March 17, the Russian occupiers shelled one of the largest markets in Eastern Europe, Barabashovo, in Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out, which rescuers came to put out. During the firefighting, Russian terrorists again hit the market with artillery. A 31-year-old rescuer passed away, and another was injured.

This was reported in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“During the firefighting, the enemy fired again, during which two rescuers received numerous shrapnel wounds. Emergency medical care units immediately delivered the wounded to the medical centre. One of the rescuers died of his injuries during hospitalization.”
