“ATO forces are isolating the crisis area and secure access control arrangements in key routes. Despite the ceasefire agreements, situation in the ATO zone remains stringent. ATO forces in the area of Donetsk airport were attacked three times by the terrorists”, – reported the Col. Andriy Lysenko, the National Security and Defence Council Information Center spokesman during his press-briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center.
Lysenko informed that in the last 24 hours illegal armed formations made approximately 20 attacks on checkpoints and positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces nearby Kirovske, Avdiyivka, Mayorske, Starolaspa, Maloorlivka, Komyshuvakha, Popasna, Krasnohorivka, Petrivske, Karpivka pupolated localities in Donetsk region. Terrorists also outshot Debaltseve and Pisky populated localities in Luhansk region, in the guise of Ukrainian artillery.
According to the data collected, terrorists planned to outshoot Donetsk downtown using “Grad” missile launcher systems. Movement of two salvo fire systems was recorded nearby Olenivka populated locality southwards from Donetsk.
NSDC spokesman reported that since the beginning of ceasefire mode at 18:00 pm on September 05, 129 outshot of positions of Ukrainian troops were recorded. In the last 24 hours ATO troops suffered no losses during military clashes.
Ukrainian servicemen and law enforcement are successfully opposing numerous subversive groups nearby Mariupol. They are supported by special mode introduced in the city. Ukrainian troops continue building fortifications and locating heavy equipment in artillery positions.
In the last 24 hours there were no military clashes on the border. There also were no recorded facts of air reconnaissance or air intrusion in Ukraine. At the same time Ukrainian troops are recording regrouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and terrorists in the border area and populated localities which are under temporary control of the militants. Simultaneously with the Russian troops rotation, withdrawal of over 10 vehicles with manpower and two fuel-servicing trucks from the territory of Ukraine was recorded.
Col. Lysenko informed that servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are building fortifications at checkpoints nearby Strilkove settlement in Kherson region. Yesterday at 12:50pm two “Ural” heavy trucks delivered and unloaded concrete blocks in the area of Arabat sandspit for this purpose.
