During his last two months of presidency, Biden authorized the use of ATACMS missiles for strikes into Russian territories. While this development has some limitations, such as the ATACMS missile having a firing range of 300 km, it is still viewed as a significant step.
Russian propaganda, of course, proceeded to react with “red lines” and apocalyptic predictions opting for their usual fearmongering displays. Markov, one of the Kremlin’s propagandists, has even tried to push a conspiracy theory about Ukraine getting a green light for the usage of long-range missiles being an attack on Trump’s presidency adding a new page to the “Russian propaganda wonderland” book.
