IІІ EASTERN PARTNERSHIP CULTURE CONGRESS: Discussion Panels and Persons

The Mission of Culture during Crisis is a basic subject of the 3rd EASTERN PARTNERSHIP CULTURE CONGRESS to be held on the 4th – 6th September 2015 in Lviv, Ukraine.

The Congress is going to feature more than 500 participants from over 20 countries to debate culture urgencies. Five proposed discussion panels are aimed to elaborate concrete proposals and recommendations to the authorities, and appeals to colleagues. During the Congress, the city of Lviv will become an open venue for various culture manifestations and actions. Despite a debate component, the event will include a mighty art programme to attract more people for communication.

Five discussion panels to be conducted during three days will be free for participation, depending on interests and concerns. Venue: Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Besides, an ‘intellectual’ street café to be equipped with a big LCD screen in front of the University is going to become a platform for informal communication and for online monitoring of all debates.

Besides, the 3rd EASTERN PARTNERSHIP CULTURE CONGRESS is going to present numerous cultural presentations from all over Ukraine, Lviv art projects and master classes on art criticism, amateur film making, journalism involved in culture issues, etc. In general, the 3-day Congress programme will demonstrate around a hundred intellectual and artistic actions (including the Polish-Ukrainian Festival of Partnership and the Days of Performance Art in Lviv).
