Russian missile strike on Dnipro causes fire, injures eight, including a month-old boy
A Russian missile attack on Dnipro in the early hours of Tuesday injured eight people, including two children, and damaged civilian infrastructure and cars.
Head of the Dnipropetrovska regional military administration Serhiy Lysak said on Telegram: “It’s been a difficult morning in Dnipro. The enemy has struck the city [with missiles]. The air defenses have shot down two missiles, but falling missile debris damaged civilian infrastructure, causing a fire and injuring residents. Children were among those injured. A month-old boy is in mild condition, he will be treated at home. A seventeen-year-old boy was taken to hospital. He is in moderate condition.”
The other injured included two men ages 68 and 37, and three women ages 32, 36, and 56. A woman and a man were taken to hospital. The woman is in moderate condition, Lysak added.

The Avdiyivka-Pokrovsk sector remains an area of significant operational focus of Russian forces as they attempt to maintain operational tempo in the face of heavy losses, the UK defence intelligence said in its latest report on Tuesday.
The Avdiivka-Pokrovsk sector has remained the probable main effort of Russian forces over the last 72 hours, with a high level of operational activity. Russian forces made minor gains, in the northern part of this sector toward the villages of Sokil and Yevhenivka,British defence intelligence said.
On a parallel axis approximately 3 km further south Russian forces are likely approaching the outskirts of the village of Novoselivka Persha.
Further south Russian forces have made no significant gains despite heavy attacks against Ukrainian positions west of the village of Netailove, astride the E50 highway, the report reads.
More than 1.3 million Ukrainians have updated personal data in military registry through Reserve+ mobile app
More than 1.3 million Ukrainians have updated their personal data in the military registry through the Reserve+ mobile application since May 18. These are persons who are subject to conscription, conscripts and reservists, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, Dmytro Lazutkin said in televised comments on Tuesday.
“More than 18,000 Ukrainians living abroad and almost 190,000 women have also updated their personal data,” Lazutkin said.
Those who have updated the data using the Reserve+ app include 164,000 people reserved from military service, 153,000 conscripts and 90,000 people for whom military service can be deferred.
“We are witnessing the intense usage of the Reserve+ application. Even more people have downloaded the app. Maybe they will [update their personal data] later,” Lazutkin said.
Ukrainians need to pass an assessment by a military medical commission once a year during martial law, and once every five years in peace time, he added.
