If not deported to Russia, Ukrainian children in the occupied territories face numerous threats to their rights and freedom. In particular, the occupiers disregard their physical and psychological safety, brainwash them with anti-Ukrainian propaganda and impose forceful Russification.
Russia’s goal is to completely erase the Ukrainian identity of the children forced to live under occupation and make the integration of the captured territories into Russia easier.
