How Russia Ruins Ecology of the Occupied Crimea

Russia has been turning the occupied Crimea into a military base and overpopulating it ever since the start of the occupation, which has immensely increased pressure on its ecosystem. The situation is aggravated by the occupant placing the nuclear weapons on the peninsula.

The aggressor putting tactical nuclear weapons in Crimea and its plans to put uranium enrichment facilities there, amongst other things, could lead to an environmental disaster in the entire Black Sea region. This has recently been emphasized by Kyrylo Budanov, the Head of the Defence Intelligence at the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, who says Russia is turning Crimea into a nuclear sump.
