In Trostyanets, the Russian occupants threw a grenade at civilians, two people died

On March 18, the Russian occupiers threw a grenade at civilians in the town of Trostyanets, Sumy region, killing two men.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation data, on March 18 2022, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, using means prohibited by international law, threw a grenade at people on a street of Trostyanets. The blast killed two men.

Under the procedural guidance of the Okhtyrka District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
