The End of ‘Neutrality’? Xi’s Visit to Russia

In the light of Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow, the whole world is watching the results of the meeting. While the Kremlin announces the extended „partnership and strategic cooperation” with China, the West warns Beijing from giving lethal aid to Moskow.

Previously, China as a strategic ally of Russia has offered its proposals “to end the war in Ukraine”. These theses were to a large extent similar to the perspective of Russian propaganda.

However, no third country may persuade Kyiv to make territorial concessions to Russia since there is no political solution to the Russian-Ukrainian war. Also, any attempt by China to directly support Russian aggression will lead to an immediate reaction from the West.

UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.

If you want to support Ukraine against Russian aggression, check the link with recommendations by Ukraine Crisis Media Center –
