Human rights situation in the occupied territories

Since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, the aggressor state has systematically violated human rights and liberties in the occupied territories. After the large-scale invasion, this problem became deeper.

Detention of activists and journalists, tortures, and deportations are the real face of the “Russian world” quasi-ideology. Now, this is the reality for the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

While Russian propaganda disseminates disinformation about “human rights violations” in Ukraine, human rights organizations do not have the access to the territories where the aggressor deports, tortures, and kills Ukrainians.
