Crimes against journalists during the full-scale russian invasion

During Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine, the work of journalists is extremely important for the world to know the truth about Russian aggression.

Sometimes, correspondents risk their lives and health documenting Russian war crimes and the realities of Russia’s war of annihilation. That is why, journalists from all over the world are also the target of the Russian regime.

They can be abducted, captured, tortured, and even executed by the aggressor. Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, Russians have committed 497 crimes against journalists and the media in Ukraine, including 21 recorded cases of capture and kidnapping.
