The prospects of Ukraine’s membership in NATO

The ultimate goal of Russian aggression is to destroy Ukrainians as a political nation and liquidate Ukraine as a sovereign state. Therefore, Ukraine needs reliable security guarantees during and after the war.

On the West, various scenarios of the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war are considered. Or of the possible ones is for Ukraine to join NATO even before the end of the war, by analogy with the Federal Republic of Germany, which did not include the Soviet-occupied part and joined NATO in 1956.

As Ukraine now defends the freedom of the entire democratic world, real peace in Europe may come only after Ukraine’s NATO accession. What are the main predictions and challenges that might arise in the process of Ukraine’s NATO integration?
