The impact of war on public health of Ukrainians

The Russian-Ukrainian war is harmful on many levels. Except for the economic losses, destruction of infrastructure, and casualties, it also leaves an indelible mark on Ukrainians’ health.

This damage is not limited to obvious risks such as contusions and injuries, but also causes psychological problems, the growth of addictions, and the exacerbation of some diseases.

As the Russian plan implies causing Ukraine as much damage as possible, the damage to public health is also a part of this strategy. Therefore, after the war, rehabilitation, and improving stress resistance of society will be some of the priorities.
