The calculation of climate damage is the first step to hold Russia accountable. Crimes against Ukrainian nature will be harmful to us in the long term
With horrific war crimes, including blowing up the Kakhovka dam, which is followed by ecocide, Russia makes Ukraine more vulnerable to global climate changes due to the economic situation, the rising temperature in our territories — and this is additional risk for Ukrane, except for more constant shelling.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
