Ukrainians’ expectations from the restoration of war-torn Ukraine

For over a year and a half, Russia does everything possible to cause maximal damage to the Ukrainian economy and infrastructure. To return to normal life in a post-war era, a plan of recovery for Ukraine needs to be created already.

Blatant Russian missile and artillery attacks systematically ruin Ukrainian cities and villages, cultural institutions, and industrial enterprises. To overcome all this destruction, the search for funding, setting tasks for recovery and reconstruction, and controlling the process is necessary.

However, in the light of massive recovery, the fear of corruption is strong among Ukrainians, therefore, the comprehensive control of the processes will be a must since Ukrainian society has become more demanding for justice and fairness.

UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
