Sowing fear and despair, burning down to the ground the entire Ukrainian cities and villages — this is the Russian method of war.
Since the start of the large-scale invasion, the settlements where the active fighting takes place, have been deliberately destroyed by shellings, wiping infrastructure, Ukrainians’ homes, and places of memory. Russian aggression is also aimed to wound Ukrainian cities as it wounds people.
However, they will be restored and rebuilt to become even more thriving after Ukraine’s victory — and Russia will be held accountable for all the war crimes against Ukraine.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
