Due to a number of factors, Ukraine’s membership in NATO is essential for maintaining international peace.
First, by acting as a deterrence to prospective aggression, it would improve stability in Eastern Europe. Second, it would support the promotion of the rule of law and the consolidation of democratic ideals in the area. Third, joining NATO would improve member nations’ collective defense capabilities by facilitating greater collaboration and coordination.
Finally, Ukraine joining NATO would make it very evident to other nations that assertive behavior and territorial expansion are not acceptable, therefore fostering a more peaceful global order.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
