The Russian invasion of Ukraine caused not only the destruction of infrastructure and the economy but also left a significant mark on the psychological portrait of Ukrainian society. As a result of the full-scale war, Ukraine needs to implement many policies to deal with the rehabilitation of the military and other citizens who suffered at the hands of the Kremlin.
In addition to psychological, legal and other assistance, sports, particularly golf, are also used for rehabilitation. Such a peaceful sport can help survivors find new hobbies and the desire to become better, which is necessary for people with post-traumatic syndrome due to combat experience.
The consequences of a full-scale war will affect Ukraine for several generations, but such initiatives are designed to help reduce the resulting social and internal tension significantly.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
