Russians shelled a village in Zaporizhzhia region, two casualties

On May 3, 2022, the occupiers fired with artillery at the village of Zaliznychne, Polohy district. The shelling damaged a school building and 12 civilian homes, killing two people.

This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Under the procedural guidance of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, criminal proceedings were instituted for violating the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
