Destroyed cities during the year of full-scale invasion

During the year of the full-scale invasion, Russians destroyed more than 170,000 residential buildings across Ukraine. This is the data as of January 2023 provided by the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. These statistics continue to grow every day as the war continues.

  • In Kyiv region, most of the cities were destroyed: Moshchun, Irpin, Bucha.
  • Chernihiv.
  • In the Kharkiv region, the most destroyed were: Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Izium.
  • In the Luhansk region, the most destroyed were: Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk, Shchastia, Popasna.
  • In Donetsk region, the most destroyed were: Bakhmut, Soledar, Lyman, Maryanka, Vuhledar, Volnovakha, Mariupol.
  • Kherson.
