Air strikes in Donetsk region and destroyed museum in Kharkiv region: how the night passed in the regions
The night of May 7 was relatively calm in most regions of Ukraine, but the Russian Federation launched artillery and air strikes in the south and east, as well as hit rockets in Mykolaiv region.

Hryhoriy Skovoroda’s museum was destroyed in the Kharkiv region at night due to the shelling of the village of Skovorodynivka, one person was injured. The Russians also fired on Bohodukhiv and the outskirts of Kharkiv, no one was injured. Fighting continues in the Izium direction.
In Luhansk region, 24 shellings per day were recorded. Most damage is in Hirske, Popasna, and Severodonetsk. 36 houses were damaged. Details of the victims and the extent of the damage are currently being clarified. The Russians also fired on the Severodonetsk Azot chemical plant, this time without critical consequences.
In the Donetsk region on the morning of May 7, Russian aircraft fired on the towns of Malotaranovka, Druzhkivka, and Kostiantynivka. Many injuried, one person died. Around 5 a.m., Bakhmut was bombed, damaging one of the plants and killing two people. Also 2 private houses were destroyed, 11 houses were damaged. One person was found dead under the rubble of one of the houses, the search is underway.
The situation in the Kherson region remains difficult, with explosions and shelling in the region. The Russians continue fighting and looting. The situation in the occupied villages remains stable. A stage will be erected on the square near the building of the regional state administration until May 9.
In the Mykolaiv region on May 6 in the afternoon the Russian Federation struck five rocket attacks, also applied systems of volley fire “Tornado”. The rest of the missile strikes hit two infrastructure facilities in the Kostiantynivka community of Mykolaiv district and near the airport. The shelling caused four fires. Data on the victims are being clarified.
