Ukrainian troops liberate a village in Kharkiv region. “On the Kharkiv axis, the Russian troops did not conduct offensive operations. Mariupol residents failing to pass “filtration” sent to illegal prisons. Residents of Mariupol that were “filtered out” are sent to a penal colony in the occupied area of Donetsk region or to Izolyatsia turned prison in occupied Donetsk.
Ukrainians who were filtered out become “suspects”, advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Anryushchenko said. They are being sent to illegal prisons in the occupied territory: penal colony no.52 in Olenivka in Donetsk region, and basements of Izolyatsia in Donetsk.
Russian forces separate four-year-old child from her mother during evacuation. Family members assumed guardianship of four-year-old Alisa separated from her mother by Russian forces during evacuation from Azovstal.
The girl had a video call with her grandmother staying in Poland, head of the Service of Children’s Issues in Zaporizhzhia region Antonina Matveyeva told Radio Liberty.
On May 8, Alisa arrived in Zaporizhzhia on an evacuation bus from Mariupol. The child was unaccompanied as the Russian troops made her mother stay in a filtration camp in Manhush.
