Dozens of tons of products were destroyed. This is another blow to meeting the food needs of the Kyiv region and the whole of Ukraine,” Kolomiiets wrote.

19:55 Reuters:

A major supplier of meteorological data from Western and other governments – the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) – suspended cooperation with Russia on Tuesday, becoming the latest weather-related agency to restrict information sharing in the wake of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.

Weapons experts said the data – which includes near-instantaneous measurements of wind speed and direction, sunlight, precipitation, and other factors – could prove crucial in planning a biological or chemical weapons attack in Ukraine.

19:52 Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:

Ihor Holod from Odesa, who worked at the Rizzi restaurant (Baden-Baden, Germany), was fired for his video address to Russians over Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Operational information as of 18.00 on 22.03.2022 regarding the Russian invasion

The twenty-seventh day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion continues.

Unsuccessfully, the enemy continues to launch missile and bomb strikes using air force on military and civilian infrastructure in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts. The enemy made more than 80 flights, including 29 from the airfields Baranovichi and Bobruisk, located in Belarus.

Bombers, assault aircraft and fighter jets were involved in the strikes. The enemy used five planes to conduct air reconnaissance of objects on the territory of Ukraine.

In the Black and Azov Seas operational zone, the ships of the Russian Navy perform tasks in certain areas of the Black Sea. Up to 5 ships of various types continue to be stationed in the north-eastern part of the Sea of Azov to support the actions of the ground forces of the occupying forces.

Despite active propaganda, the personnel of some units of the Central Military District were demoralized due to significant losses.

Cases of mass refusal of servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation to take part in the war against Ukraine continue to be recorded. According to the available information, in the 155th separate brigade of marines since the beginning of the war about 220 servicemen refused to take part in the armed aggression against Ukraine. In total, since February 24 this year, about 50 servicemen of this brigade have been killed and about 110 wounded. Also, the death of senior officers in the Russian-Ukrainian war has caused a great resonance in Russian society.

The enemy, as noted earlier, has significant problems with the logistics of occupying forces in almost all directions. In addition, the occupying forces continue to suffer significant losses due to an inadequately organized medical supply system. Thus, due to untimely provision of medical care, lack of medical evacuation of the wounded and lack of medicines, units of the 7th Assault Division of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation suffered heavy losses.

Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, demonstrating examples of courage and heroism, and destroy it in all directions.

Let’s win together! Glory to Ukraine!

The city of Chernihiv is on the verge of survival.

The outscirts of the city are completely bombed, the suburbs – by 60%. In addition, half of the population left Chernihiv, and many of the remaining (about 130,000) are sick and unable to take care of themselves.

Exits from Chernihiv to Kyiv are mined. Those who risk to leave use the “forest paths”. In the same way humanitarian aid is still attempted to be delivered. After the weather gets warmer, these paths will be washed away. The city will remain under absolute blockade.

13:00 Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:

Given the total lack of replenishment of the combat army reserve, the occupiers resort to new forms of covert “mobilization”.

Due to the reluctance of reservists to return to the army and the mass refusal to sign contracts, the Russian Prosecutor’s Office is purposefully looking for people who have problems with loans, alimony and other debts. Accordingly, debtors are offered a waiver of all credit obligations in the event of signing a contract with the Russian army. In particular, similar proposals began to spread in the Republic of Tatarstan, Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don and the North Caucasus.

Recruitment of people who have problems with the law also continues. Criminals are offered a full amnesty in exchange for participation in hostilities in Ukraine.

Units of the Western Military District did not carry out active offensive operations in the Slobozhansky direction. In the direction of Kharkiv and Izyum, the enemy is trying to take measures to restore the units that lost their combat capability, at the expense of separate units of the Baltic and Northern Fleets. 6:47 General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Operational information at 06.00 on 22.03.2022 of the russian invasion

The twenty-seventh day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion began.

No significant changes in the position and nature of the actions of the defense forces during the last day have been noted. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces continued to strike at groups of enemy troops who tried to hold the captured frontiers and succeeded in certain areas.

Over the past 24hrs, more than 9 enemy air targets have been hit by units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Air Defense of the Land Forces. These are 1 plane, 6 UAVs and 2 helicopters, the number of missiles shot down is being specified.

In addition, the Air Force aircraft dealt devastating blows to clusters of enemy equipment and manpower, conducted air battles and intercepted air targets. More active actions of enemy aircraft have been noted in the last 24 hours.

The enemy did not lose significant problems with securing its troops. According to available information, the russian occupation forces operating in Ukraine have stockpiles of ammunition and food for no more than three days. The situation is similar with fuel, which is replenished by tank trucks. The occupiers were unable to organize a pipeline to meet the needs of the grouping of troops.

russian aggressors continue to carry out aggressive propaganda work on the need to take part in the war with Ukraine with the personnel of the armed forces of the republic of belarus.

In the Okhtyrka district of the Sumy oblast, the facts of disobedience of russian servicemen were recorded. About 300 occupiers refused to carry out the order to conduct hostilities, and, on 70 units of equipment, left the area of the operation.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, due to heavy losses of manpower, the enemy continues to mobilize citizens of the quasi-formation of the “LPR”. A large part of the population does not support the policy of the occupiers, does not want to take up arms and hides from the representatives of the occupying power. It is significant that mobilization is carried out chaotically, the people who are mobilized are not distributed by specialties, most of them have no military specialty, because they have never served in the military. Contracts are signed with citizens who have russian passports, and those who have only a pseudo-republic passport are registered as volunteers.

In the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the enemy continues to try to advance and gain a foothold, but to no avail.

Ukrainian defenders repulsed 13 enemy attacks and destroyed 14 tanks, 8 infantry fighting vehicles, 2 multi-purpose towing vehicles light armored, 3 artillery systems and 4 vehicles. Air defense units hit 2 enemy air targets. The losses of enemy personnel amounted to about 300 people.

In addition, the defenders of Mariupol destroyed the patrol boat “Raptor” and the electronic warfare complex “Leer-3”.

We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Let’s win together! Glory to Ukraine!

The Russian newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda” published the information on the deaths of nearly 10,000 Russian soldiers during the fighting in Ukraine, and then deleted the message.

1:09 General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Operational information at 00.00 on 22.03.2022 of the russian invasion

The twenty-sixth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion is coming to an end.

During the fighting, the enemy temporarily holds the land corridor with the occupied Crimea and blocks access to the Sea of Azov.

Having lost its offensive potential, the russian occupation forces continue to form and move reserves from the depths of the russian federation to the borders of Ukraine.

Due to the large irreversible and sanitary losses of personnel (including command) in the armed forces of the russian federation, the planned discharge of officers, ensigns and sergeants from military service has been suspended.

The military-political leadership of the russian federation is carrying out aggressive propaganda activities aimed at servicemen of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus regarding the need for military invasion of the territory of Ukraine.

In Polissya, during the day, the enemy tried to intensify offensive operations in several areas, suffered losses, but did not succeed. Continues to conduct air reconnaissance in order to find optimal ways to improve its position.

In the Northern direction, the enemy is not conducting active offensive operations, continues to restore offensive capabilities by introducing additional units on the territory of Ukraine, including a battalion tactical group from the 90th Tank Division.

Units of the invader continue to shell Chernihiv and other settlements, do not abandon attempts to attack in the direction of Brovary, but due to losses, have no success in advancing. They are trying to replenish stocks and conduct reconnaissance.

In the Slobozhansky direction the enemy does not carry out active offensive actions, continues to partially block the city of Sumy, carries out artillery shelling of the city of Kharkiv. Occupation forces are trying to rebuild the railway section from Valuyki to Kupyansk in order to improve the logistics of the group.

In the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the enemy continues to try to advance and gain a foothold, but was unsuccessful.

Ukrainian defenders repulsed 13 enemy attacks and destroyed 14 tanks, 8 infantry fighting vehicles, 2 multi-purpose towing vehicle light armored, 3 artillery systems and 4 vehicles. Air defense units hit 2 enemy air targets. The losses of enemy personnel amounted to about 300 people (losses are being clarified).

Defenders of Mariupol destroyed the patrol boat “Raptor” and the electronic warfare complex “Leer-3”.

In the South Buh direction, the occupiers have taken defensive action, are taking measures to restore combat capability, trying to restore damaged armored vehicles.

In the Mykolayiv direction, owing to counterattack of divisions of Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is compelled to retreat to unfavorable borders.

So, during the day, thanks to the heroic actions of our defenders, the state flag of Ukraine was raised over the city of Makarov, the enemy was rejected.

Enemy aircraft continue to destroy missile and bombings of infrastructure in Ukraine in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts. At the same time, the occupiers continue to actively use the airfield network of the republic of belarus.

It is expected that the enemy will continue to launch insidious missile and bomb strikes and carry out artillery shelling of critical infrastructure of Ukraine using jet artillery, aircraft, high-precision weapons and indiscriminate munitions.

Ukraine is on our shoulders! Keep calm! Glory to Ukraine!

00:21 High Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On March 21, the Russian occupants increased their aviation presence in Ukraine’s airspace.

In addition to the use of many unmanned aerial vehicles, the enemy uses bombers, assault and fighter aircraft, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles in various directions.
