Operational information on 18:00, 14.03.2022 regarding the #russian_invasion

The nineteenth day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion continues.

Occupying troops continue offensive operation against Ukraine.

The main goal of hostilities on the territory of our State by the enemy has not been achieved.

Receiving repulse and incurring losses, the occupying forces are increasingly forced to turn to defense and surrender to Ukrainian defenders.

In most areas, when trying to move forward, the enemy faces resistance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civil resistance from the local population.

Without much success, the enemy continues to launch missile and bomb strikes by aircraft, destroying military and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Uses high-ammunition and indiscriminate munitions in residential areas of large cities, defiantly ignoring the rules of international humanitarian law.

Given the current situation, the invaders have strengthened the protection of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border by units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

The occupiers are trying to seize settlements near the city of Izyum.

The Defense Forces continue to conduct a defense operation within the Southern, Eastern and Northern Operational Zones.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, demonstrating mass examples of heroism, courage and high professionalism, successfully destroy enemy troops.

The Ukrainian side told the International Atomic Energy Agency that the staff of the Chornobyl NPP no longer repairs and maintains safety-related equipment, partly due to physical and psychological fatigue after continuous operation for almost three weeks.

“211 technicians and security guards are still not relieved: they started their shift  the day before Russian troops entered the site on February 24. In addition, the regulator expressed concern about the safety of transporting personnel outside the exclusion zone established after the accident. The regulatory body has no direct contact with the staff, but it receives information from the NPP management outside the site,” the IAEA Director-General said in a statement.

17:05 Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

The occupiers are deliberately destroying agricultural machinery in Ukraine. Systematic cases of such actions have been recorded in Brovary district (Kyiv region), Melitopol district (Zaporizhia region), Pryluky, Nizhyn, Novhorod-Siversky districts (Chernihiv region), in several districts of Kherson and Kharkiv regions.

Also, invaders requisitioned agricultural machinery en masse for engineering works and construction of fortifications. They use tractors for the displacement of armored vehicles. The local population in the occupied settlements is forcibly involved in these works.

On the night of March 13 in the settlements of Chupakhivka and Olenynske of Okhtyrka district (Sumy region), a targeted air-bomb attack was carried out on the places of storage of agricultural machinery. As a result of the strike, all equipment, more than 30 units, was destroyed.

Such actions of the enemy indicate the following:

⚠️The enemy is deliberately destroying agricultural machinery. It will jeopardize the sowing campaign in the spring which could lead to a humanitarian crisis in some regions of Ukraine.

⚠️Food security is threatened not only in Ukraine. Our country is one of the main suppliers of many types of crops to the markets of Europe and China.

⚠️Occupiers continue the practice of striking civilian objects. It grossly violates the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law.

06:43 General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Operational information on 06.00, 14.03.2022

The nineteenth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion has begun.

Status, position and nature of actions of the defense forces are without significant changes. The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted devastating blows on the rear infrastructure (field bases and warehouses) in order to disrupt the system of logistical support of the enemy in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the occupiers. During the previous day, four planes, three helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles were hit by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (information on the type is being clarified).

The occupying forces did not have significant success in conducting an offensive operation in all directions. The main efforts of the occupiers were focused on consolidating and retaining the previously occupied borders.

Repeated cases of the enemy’s use of civilian infrastructure, including religious sites to equip firing positions, deploy weapons and military equipment, have been reported.

The moral and psychological state of the enemy remains low, which leads to the refusal of servicemen of the rf Armed Forces to carry out the orders of the command. According to available information, a military camp of the Belhorod Military Commandant’s Office is located in the city of Belhorod on the territory of the russian federation. The camp holds russian servicemen who have been discharged from hospitals after treatment and are waiting to be sent to units. 00:47 General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Operational information on 24.00, 13.03.2022

The eighteenth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion is coming to an end.

russian occupation forces continue the offensive operation against our state. They are trying to gain a foothold in the occupied positions and maintain the pace of the offensive in certain areas.

In order to increase the number of groups in the Polissya, Tavriya and South Bug operational areas, the enemy is forming and moving strategic reserves to our borders.

There have been cases of mass refusals by russian servicemen to “travel to Ukraine” to take part in hostilities, despite promises of “war veteran” status, additional daily allowances and higher salaries.

Ignoring the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the russian occupiers continue to destroy stationary military and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Thus, on March 13, missile strikes were carried out on objects in the settlements of Uman, Ivano-Frankivsk, Starychi with the use of strategic aircraft. In addition, the launch of a mobile short range ballistic missile system “Iskander” (SS-26 Stone) from the territory of Belarus continues.

In the Volyn direction, the enemy carried out demonstration operations by units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus along the State Border of Ukraine.

In the Polissya direction, units of the occupying forces carried out measures to restore combat capability and regroup troops, and improved logistics. In order to exclude the suddenness of actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is actively conducting reconnaissance.

In the Northern direction, the enemy focused on regrouping, replenishing supplies, preparing to resume the offensive in the direction of Brovary.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold on the achieved frontiers, regrouping troops and trying to resume offensive operations on the cities of Kharkiv and Sumy.

In the Izyum direction, as a result of active offensive actions of Ukrainian defenders, the enemy suffered losses in the area of the settlements of Topolske, Shpakivka, Donetsk and retreated.

In the Donetsk and Tavriya directions, enemy units are trying to carry out assault operations, concentrating their main efforts on advancing in the direction of Severodonetsk.

Attempts to capture Mariupol remain unsuccessful.

In the South Bug direction, the enemy is trying to conduct raids and gain a foothold on the achieved frontiers.
