23:34 Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

Russia is threatening to strike at Kyiv and other cities where they say decision-making centers may be located.

“We see attempts of sabotage and strikes by Ukrainian troops on objects on the territory of Russia. If such sabotage continues, the Russian Armed Forces will strike at decision-making centers, including in Kyiv, from which the Russian army has so far refrained”, the Russian Defense Ministry stated.

The Center for Countering Disinformation urges to keep calm and not be subjected to constant manipulation by the Kremlin.

It has been confirmed that the missile cruiser “Moskva” today went exactly where it was sent by our border guards on Snake Island!

Ukrainian “Neptune” missiles guarding the Black Sea caused very serious damage to the Russian ship.

Experts of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine selected fakes, manipulations and misinformation throws that the enemy produced on April 13, 2022.

❌ A spokesman for the Russian president said that “Medvedchuk has never had behind-the-scenes relations with Russia”. At the same time, he stressed that “there would be no military operation in Ukraine if Medvedchuk’s ideas on normalizing relations were taken into account in Kyiv.”

🔻 Warning: this is manipulation

❌ Despite the fact that Ukrainian troops are waging a defensive war, the governor of the Kursk region said that “the Ukrainian side fired on the Russian border checkpoint, and Russian border guards opened fire in response”.

🔻 Warning: this is a manipulation!

❌The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claims that illegal armed groups of the ORDO “discovered a laboratory near Mariupol for the production of “combat” drugs for Ukrainian nationalists”, but the propagandists spoiled the plan of the RF and added a photo of the Kharkiv school.

🔻 Warning: this is a fake!

21:54 Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine

The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation is preparing draft regulations that will allow the transfer of children of Ukrainian citizens forcibly removed from the temporarily occupied territories to the families of Russian citizens. Including through their adoption.

In Mariupol, the Russian military took hostage members of the crews of the ship “Azburg” under the flag of Dominica and “Lady Augusta” under the flag of Jamaica.

“On April 10, the crew of two ships:” Azburg “- 12 sailors who are citizens of Ukraine, and” Lady Augusta “, whose crew consists of Syrian citizens, their number is unknown, the occupiers captured and took to the temporarily occupied Donetsk”, reported Lyudmila Denisova

The operational update regarding the Russian invasion on 18.00 on April 13, 2022.

Video (Spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Shtupun)

The forty-ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a Russian military invasion continues. A Russian federation continues its full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

  • The Russian enemy continues to launch the systematic missile and bomb strikes on infrastructure in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
  • In the Volyn, Polissia, and Siverskyi directions, the Russian enemy units did not take active action. The Russian occupiers are moving individual units in certain directions.
  • In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy has partially blocked Kharkiv. Due to the impossibility of capturing it, the armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to use artillery to destroy the city’s infrastructure.
  • In the Donetsk and Tavriya directions, according to available information, the Russian enemy is ready for offensive action. It continues to focus its efforts on capturing certain quarters of Mariupol and inflicting airstrikes.
  • The Russian enemy is trying to carry out assault operations in the areas of Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne, and Popasna.
  • In the South Buh direction, the Russian enemy conducts air reconnaissance to identify units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • In combat operations in parts of the south-eastern regions of Ukraine, separate units of the 103rd, 109th, 113th, 125th, and 127th Motorized Rifle Regiments operate as part of a group of enemy troops. They were recruited during the forced mobilization of men from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Structurally, these regiments number up to 5 battalions numbering about 300 servicemen in each. Only 5-10 percent of the personnel of these units have combat experience. The regimental command consists of officers of the armed forces of the Russian federation. These groups have significant problems with the provision of weapons, ammunition, and medicine.
  • The Russian enemy continues illegal actions against the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories. The Russians are checking documents, personal belongings, and mobile phones. The Russian occupiers also carry out forced inspections of apartments.
  • In some occupied territories of Kharkiv oblast, the Russian enemy has disrupted the cellular network. The Russian occupiers are exerting an aggressive informational and psychological influence on the population. It is mostly aimed at trying to convince of the futility of the fight against the Russian occupation forces.
  • We urge citizens not to believe in hostile propaganda and to continue total resistance.
  • Significantly, the Russian occupying forces continue to suffer losses in the temporarily occupied territories. So, in the period from March 20 to April 12 this year, in the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia oblast, about 70 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were killed while patrolling the area at night.

18:44 Radio Svoboda

The Russian military has committed war crimes by attacking civilians. Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe made a report covering the initial period of the Russian Federation’s renewed aggression against Ukraine from February 24 through April 1, 2022.

The report, among other things, describes how Russian troops used the Red Cross emblem, white flags, Ukrainian flags, civilian clothes, and even OSCE symbols to facilitate their military operations.

There is also evidence that Russian forces have used a “systematic scheme” to damage Ukrainian medical facilities.

18:17 Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov

The Russians are trying to surround the Ukrainian military in the Donbas, but Ukraine will be able to oust the occupiers from the country if the partners provide long-range missiles and other offensive weapons.

17:21 Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko

As of April 13, about 120,000 citizens remain in Mariupol, which has been blocked by Russian invaders.

17:00 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Various experts said that Ukraine wouldn’t hold for more than a week if Russia invaded Ukraine. Not only did we manage to stop the Russian Army – we have pushed them back! But our war is far from over. This was just the first round.

Putin and his army are changing their strategy. They are strengthening their forces to push even harder on Kharkiv and all Donbas region, including Mariupol.

Russia does not plan to stop with Ukraine. Putin’s propaganda machine openly states that Europe is the “next logical target” after Ukraine. So either the West will help Ukraine stop Putin now, or Putin will continue expanding his Russian Empire, killing thousands of women and children in the process. He has already done this in Mariupol, Kharkiv, Bucha, and other cities of Ukraine.

To continue heroically defending the world from Russian aggression, Ukraine needs a specific list of weapons. I appeal to citizens of the whole world to help convey to your governments, presidential administrations, and leaders of your countries the real needs of Ukraine, which will help stop the war.

We urgently need heavy artillery, heavy armored vehicles, air defense systems and aircraft:

– Artillery pieces (caliber 155 mm) and ammo;

– Artillery shells (152 mm caliber). As much as possible;

– Multiple Rocket Launch Systems: “Grad”, “Uragan”, or American M142 HIMARS;

– APCs (armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, etc.);

– Tanks (T-72, either American or German analogs);

– Air defense systems (S-300, BUK, or similar modern western air defense systems);

– Combat aircraft.

We are asking the whole world to unite and help us fight this cruel aggression.

Arm Ukraine Now, so that we can defeat this evil together.

16:40 Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi

In the Sumy region, the occupiers killed more than 100 civilians, and the search for the missing continues. Losses due to the destruction of local infrastructure exceeded UAH 10 billion.

“This number is growing every day. Bodies with their hands tied, with traces of torture, and being shot in the head are found. These are terrible things. Many people are missing. Some people are in captivity – a negotiating team is working to release them. Many people whose fate we do not know at all. Shot cars were found on the roads, highways, and in the woods. What happened to the owners of these cars is not known for sure,” said Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.

16:17 Focus

Russia considers US and NATO vehicles transporting weapons to Ukraine as legitimate military objectives. Thus, Russian troops will be able to attack such convoys. This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov.

16:16 Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov being in the destroyed Hostomel addressed foreign partners to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons. Not only the Soviet weapons are needed but also the modern NATO model.

“We need MLRS, tanks, armored vehicles, and 155 mm artillery, not 152 mm, as in the Soviet Union, to get them and finish the case,” Reznikov said.

15:19 European Pravda

The Council of the European Union has approved the allocation of the third tranche of 500 million euros from the European Peace Fund (EPF) for the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

In Kharkiv, the shelling of residential areas of the North Saltivka, the 602nd district, and the Zhukovskoho settlement continue. The Russian military is also shelling the area of the Kharkiv Tractor Plant. There was a conflagration; locals report a column of black smoke.

12:41 Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office

According to the investigation, on April 12, 2022, in the village of Pravdyne, Bilozirskyi district, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation shot dead six men and one woman in a residential building. Intending to cover up the crime, the occupiers blew up the house with the bodies of the executed people.

12:28 Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko

At least seven people were injured in a missile strike by the Russian occupiers on Cherkaske in the Donetsk region.

The attack took place this morning. Apartment buildings were damaged.

Once again, the Russians reaffirm that they are incapable of waging a fair convention war and resisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Their main tactic now is to terrorize and kill the civilian population.

The terrorist state continues to fire on towns and villages along the entire front line. Today Avdiivka and Velyka Novosilka have already come under attack. In Avdiivka, a residential building and city infrastructure facilities were damaged. In Velyka Novosilka, it is known that she hit a private house, the owner of which received a minor concussion.

We carefully record all the crimes of the Russians. For everything done, the enemy will suffer a deserved punishment.

The Czech nuclear power plant has given up Russian fuel

From 2024, nuclear fuel assemblies for the Czech nuclear power plant in Temelin will be supplied by the American electrical company Westinghouse and the French Framatome, which will replace the fuel from TVEL of the state corporation Rosatom.

Ladislav Kříž, the spokesperson for the ČEZ conglomerate of energy companies, told the České noviny about this.

11:33 Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

Russia is launching a large-scale campaign to mythologize the war in Ukraine in order to make its population believe that the Russian army has heroically fulfilled all its tasks. Propaganda captures non-existent victories at the frontline.

In the foreign and Russian information fields, the Kremlin spreads the topic that the Russian army is “more effective than NATO troops” and “experts noted that the Russian army uses non-standard methods of fighting in Ukraine”.

To reinforce the myth, Russia uses meaningless quotes from US military serviceman Andreas Weber and US military analyst Trent Telenko. In fact, these experts in the information space support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and comment on the actions of the Russian army in negative context.

11:11 State Emergency Service of Ukraine

The army of the Russian occupiers continues to attack the Luhansk region: many houses were destroyed and numerous fires emerged. The military, rescuers, police, and authorities work non-stop.

  • In the past 24 hours alone, the SES of the region has eliminated more than 10 fires in residential buildings in Kreminna and Lysychansk.
  • A whole quarter of the residential neighborhood was on fire in Rubizhne. Firefighters rescued 10 civilians there.
  • In Sievierodonetsk, rescuers extinguished a fire in a building on the territory of a medical institution. To prevent people from receiving aid, the Russian army destroyed a humanitarian center. The building came under massive fire: the walls were destroyed and conflagration emerged in the warehouse.

More than 300 civilians were evacuated from the Luhansk region on April 12. About 90,000 people in the region’s communities remain in bomb shelters. Rescuers continue to deliver food, medicine, and humanitarian kits to them.

11:08 Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov

Russians continue to terrorize civilians. Over the past 24 hours, the occupying forces have fired approximately 53 artillery and MLRS strikes. 22 civilians, including 3 children, were injured in the shelling. 7 people died. A two-year-old boy who was injured in shelling a few days ago has died in hospital.

10:52 Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

Russia’s leadership has ordered the destruction of any evidence of its crimes in Ukraine.

After the international publicity of the genocide of the Ukrainian people in Bucha, Kyiv region, Russian troops began using mobile crematoria in Ukraine.

In particular, 13 mobile crematoria were registered in Mariupol to clean the streets from the bodies of dead civilians. The occupiers are trying to identify all potential witnesses to the atrocities through filtration camps and destroy them.

Ukraine’s military intelligence has repeatedly recorded the use of mobile crematoria in the Chernihiv region. The enemy’s mobile crematorium was recorded in Novoaidar, Luhansk region.

Moreover, the Russian Armed Forces use mobile crematoria to destroy the bodies of Russian servicemen. The purpose of these actions is to hide the real number of soldiers who died during the Russian aggression against Ukraine and avoid payments to the families of the dead.

The actions of the Russian army fall under the definition of “genocide” following the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and Article 6 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. The Russian leadership will continue trying to conceal the facts of war crimes in Ukraine.

10:51 National Bank of Ukraine

The National Bank of Ukraine transferred over UAH 14.96 billion to the military. UAH 3 million is left on the special account.

Funds came from citizens and businesses in Ukraine, as well as from the international community, including the United States, Britain, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Finland, France, Australia, the Czech Republic, and many other countries.

7:34 Oleksandr Kamyshin, Head of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways)

This night, Russian troops fired on a railway station in central Ukraine.

For safety reasons, we changed the route and schedule for 17 passenger trains.

This led to the delay of these trains. The longest delay was 7 years, 23 minutes. But security is a key priority for us now.

None of our passengers and railway workers were injured in the shelling.

The operational update regarding the #russian_invasion on 06.00 on April 13, 2022.

Video (Spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Shtupun)

The forty- ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military invasion continues. The russian federation continues its full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

russian enemy continues to launch missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Actively conducts air reconnaissance.

Until April 26, the russian federation introduced the so-called “yellow level of terrorist threat” in the areas bordering our country and in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. These measures are probably carried out in order to organize the movement of military equipment, weapons and personnel on the territory of Ukraine.

The occupiers continue to send so-called “volunteers” to Ukraine. Thus, according to available information, a battalion of about 400 people was formed in the Leningrad region. It consists exclusively of servicemen with combat experience. They were sent to Ukraine to reinforce one of the units of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th All-Military Army.

In the Siversky direction, it is possible to maintain separate units in the border areas of Kursk region with Ukraine to conduct demonstration actions in order to restrain our forces.

Partial blockade and artillery shelling of the city of Kharkiv continues in the Slobozhansky direction. In some temporarily occupied territories, the enemy resorted to forming units of the so-called “people’s militia.” Appropriate work carries out to implement these measures.

In the Donetsk and Tavriya directions, the russian enemy continued to launch air strikes on Mariupol. It is launching an offensive near the Azovstal metallurgical complex and the Seaport.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy is trying to seize individual settlements, but without success.

Over the past 24hrs, the defenders of Ukraine have repulsed six enemy attacks, destroyed two vehicles and three enemy artillery systems in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The Su-25 russian enemy plane was shot down by a group of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the day before. The enemy has significantly reduced the use of aircraft due to weather conditions.

We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Let’s win together! Glory to Ukraine!
