The woman managed to get out of the burning car and get the children from there – her ten-month-old daughter and her friend’s three-year-old son.
- In Marinka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka, the enemy used phosphorous shells again. As a result of the shelling, 11 people were injured, including 5 children. Everyone is receiving medical care.
- As a result of artillery shelling in the Chernihiv region, two children were injured.

The actions of the Russian occupation forces violated the right of children to life, which is enshrined in Article 6 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The killing of children and the shelling of peaceful settlements are crimes against humanity and war crimes under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation of Human Rights Violations during Russia’s Military Invasion of Ukraine and the expert mission set up by the OSCE participating States under the Moscow Mechanism to take into account these war crimes and crimes against humanity and human rights in Ukraine.

- In the temporarily occupied territories, the Russian enemy continues its illegal actions, restricting the movement of civilians, using the houses and apartments of local residents to accommodate personnel, holding local residents and activists as hostages. Marauding and violence against Ukrainian citizens continue.
