In Rubizhne, Luhansk region, Russian forces struck a tank with nitric acid. That’s the second such incident in the past week. Swallowing or breathing in nitric acid can produce poisoning. Exposure to nitric acid can cause irritation to skin, and mucous membrane.

Updated at 18:30: The attack was not a threat to local population. Explosion of the storage tank with four tons of nitric acid sent up a plume toward the Russian troops’ positions near Kudryashivka and Varvarivka.
